The Balm of Gilead by Sovereign Roots involves an oil infusion from the leaf buds of poplar trees being mixed with heated beeswax and tallow to create a salve. From being kombucha pet owners for many years to easing the passing of the Covid debacle with sourdough baking, the past dozen years of their marriage have informed what is now called Sovereign Roots. Clark has been a registered acupuncturist since 2020 and Maddy a registered midwife since 2021. They love humans so much they decided to be parents, too. Their kids are big fans of all the Sovereign Roots products, and always can be counted on to give their honest opinion as product testers.
