Where there is tension, there your work lies

Relationships aren’t just a mirror, they are a portal. When we see our frustrations as doorways to a better version of ourselves, we won’t seek to avoid them. When our shit comes up, we’ll use it as fertilizer to grow and change and heal. Love is one of the greatest avenues for this — but even more deeply, I believe our phones and technology are now offering even a deeper and more frequent mirror to where we are stuck, and where we are wounded. In this session I will talk more about how to uncover what lives below our challenges, and how to implement the changes we need to go through that portal, and leave the old, outdated versions of ourselves behind. About Mark: Human Connection Specialist, Speaker, Author, Coach, Podcast Host and founder of Create The Love. Born with an innate curiosity and a hunger for truth, Mark’s journey of self-discovery and personal liberation has led him to spend the last decade coaching and inspiring millions worldwide to create the life and love they desire. Through his candid but compassionate, no-BS guidance, Mark has helped empower countless individuals, teams, and companies to step into their most authentic, effective, and loving selves, transform how they relate to themselves and others, and create profound changes in their lives and relationships.

Myth As Memory: Mythology, Psychology and the Original Purpose Of Myth

Circle Line for photos transparent bckgd.png
Tad H (1).jpg

We live in a time when many people of European descent are waking up to but feel cut off from their indigenous, folk ancestry that suffered waves of colonization from Rome to the Holy Roman Empire, famine, disease, war upon war before washing up on the shores of what would become known as North America. There seems to be no way back to the forgotten wisdom those people held and so the only place to find it seems to be in the traditions and practices of other still intact (or more intact) indigenous peoples. In this evening, we'll be making the case that more memory survived than we've been led to believe - much of it in the form of common folk and fairy tales you likely heard as a child or watched as Disney movies. Here's the core idea of our time together: If you are willing to look at fairy tales as memory, not just metaphor, you'll get further with them. In this workshop, we'll be coming to a small portion of that cultural memory via the old Grimm's tale Briar Rose - a version of the Sleeping Beauty story that exists in many versions around the world. About Tad: Founder of Marketing for Hippies Tad is a hippy who developed a knack for marketing (and then learned how to be a hippy again). Since 2001, he’s been weaving together strands of ethical marketing, Waldorf School education, a history in the performing arts, local culture work, anti-globalization activism, an interest in his ancestral, traditional cultures, community building and supporting local economies into this work of helping people create profitable businesses that are ethically grown while restoring the beauty of the marketplace.

(Tea)chings - A Guided Tea Ceremony of Presence and Wisdom

Circle Line for photos transparent bckgd.png
Chelsey Mah_edited.png

Land into grounded connection through Tea Ceremony - A gentle return to remembrance that we are intertwined with nature and all of life itself. Together, we will honor the ancient ritual of Tea as a vessel of wisdom and presence. This is your invitation: to listen deeply, to steep in simply being, and to come home to heart space. We will begin the morning with an exploration of Cha Dao - The Way of Tea. Chelsey will share the teachings and philosophies that shape this ancient path, offering insight into how Tea serves as both mirror and guide, encouraging us to live fully. We will then transition into Tea Ceremony, where we will steep in the embrace of Tea Herself. As Chelsey serves, we will embody the wisdom carried in Tea’s essence, resting in the peace that arises as we allow Her to integrate into our being. Tea is a plant medicine in Her own right - A teacher and a guide. There is a reason this ceremony has been practiced for hundreds of years, and why we return to Tea time and again. She is timeless, returning us to the inherent nature of who we are, by bringing us back into being. What you have been seeking has been here all along - Waiting patiently in the leaves, in the bottom of your cup. Come reclaim what you thought was lost, as Tea helps you remember. About Chelsey: Chelsey is a Tea Ceremonialist who was first introduced to Tea and Ceremony during a profound healing journey. Among many holistic practices, it was Tea that touched something deeply inherent within her - Tea Ceremony opened the way for surrender and acceptance, leading her towards Peace. Drawn to the wisdom of Tea, Chelsey began to walk the path of Cha Dao - The Way of Tea - Integrating its teachings into her daily life. Over the years, she has cultivated an intimate relationship with Tea as both Teacher and Medicine - One that is gentle, yet deeply honest. Through Tea, we experience embodied presence and connection - To meet each moment exactly as it is, without resistance or denial. In a world that urges us to move faster, strive harder, and chase more until we are left exhausted, Tea offers a different way. Through Ancestral Guidance, we are invited to slow down to experience quiet remembrance, reclamation, and returning. In this practice, silence holds meaning, and every sip becomes an offering, carrying Tea's wisdom in each cup.

The Power of Touch: Healing in Union through Osteopathic Palpation

Circle Line for photos transparent bckgd.png
Reem & Yulian_edited.jpg

We have been led astray. We have lost touch, literally and figuratively, with the language of the body. Literacy is more than just comprehension, it is based on the capacity to listen deeply. And it is without a doubt that the current systems are failing humanity. Osteopathy is a powerful and holistic approach to health that encourages healing through intentional touch and deep body awareness. This co-ed event will focus on the practice of osteopathic palpation, a technique that allows you to tune into the body's natural rhythms and uncover the root causes of discomfort or tension or emotional dysregulation. In this hands-on session, participants will learn the basics of palpation and how to use gentle touch to deeply listen. Participants will explore how intentional touch can foster healing and balance, alleviate stress, and enhance overall well-being. This will deepen our practice in connection with ourselves as well as our partners and loved ones. About Yulian & Reem: Yulian & Reem are a husband-and-wife team of Osteopathic Manual Practitioners. With a combined 18 years experience, they have background in Registered Massage Therapy from Ontario, Canada. They currently reside in Mexico where they have an in-person practice. Their 3 children are all "Osteo babies" meaning they received treatment preconception, in-utero, and postpartum. Specializing in fertility for both men and women, as well as pediatric care, Reem & Yulian are passionate about supporting families on their wellness journey.

A meditation journey through your mother line and why it matters. Presencing the biological truth that women pass on ancestral lineage. Interweaving the plain facts of our physicality, our genetics, our spiritual reality, with a guided visualization through your mother’s birth, her mother’s, and your own. Unlock new memories, old connections, and the wide, true view. Receive space to feel and process grief, gratitude, love. Really engage within your own body this project of restoring reverence for women and mothers in our communities for what they give. Whether you know her or not, whether you know your grandmother’s names or not. There is so much here for each of us. The primacy of mother cannot be undone. We gather held upon the bosom of the earth, Metabolizing Mother, on all levels. About Kayla: Kayla Dawn Morin is a woman, mother, space holder and coach with 10 years of hands-on experience working with women and their families intimately one-on-one, through bodywork, birth work, and trauma healing facilitation— a unique, intuitive approach that blends talking, touch, and an intentional, co-creative container. Kayla offers Closing of the Bones, freebirth coaching, and group facilitation that focuses on healing core wounds and inner tending. Conflict is inevitable and every relationship worth having will eventually test you, trigger you, and cause you to expand or repress. The happy couples that last aren't the ones that don't fight, but rather the ones who have figured out how to navigate and resolve the difficult moments when they arise. How we do that while turning back towards each other with compassion and humility is a skill that can be practiced. In this workshop, we'll share stories from our own hardest moments, offer the practical tools that have worked for us, and facilitate a conversation based on your questions and reflections.

Ethical Marketing & Business

Circle Line for photos transparent bckgd.png
Tad H.jpg

In this presentation, you’ll learn my best core strategies on how to market your business in a way that is ethical, effective and beautiful. No scripts. No pitching. No inauthentic self-promotion. No high-pressure sales tactics. No manipulating anyone.  This is marketing you’ll actually do.  You don’t have to choose between ethics and effectiveness. That’s the core idea here: Your marketing can be genuinely good-vibes, deeply respectful, trauma-informed, consent-based, conscience-driven, courteous, and honour the dignity of everyone involved (including you). You can get more word-of-mouth and market your beautiful work beautifully. And, given the overly-saturated marketplace in the holistic and coaching world, it needs to stand out. Ah… But so many people feel deeply ill at ease with the idea of self promotion. Most entrepreneurs I know feel torn between either doing no marketing at all (because they can’t find a way to do it that feels good) or marketing that works in the short term (but doesn’t feel good). I am suggesting that there’s a way to approach marketing that actually works better than the pushy and manipulative approaches you hate and that feels genuinely good to all involved. You can be a better marketer and attract all the clients you can handle – without sacrificing your integrity. This work is all about developing what I call ‘ethical marketing for uncertain times’. By the end of this workshop you will learn about: * Why some of your past attempts at marketing either failed or felt awful (or both). * What the Seven Fundamentals are (and, I predict, feel an enormous sense of relief that marketing can both feel good and work) and exactly which order to tackle them in (it does matter). * Be guided through a series of ‘micro-reflections’ to help you figure out which of the seven you’re strong in and which you’re weak in (and what to do about it) About Tad: Founder of Marketing for Hippies Tad is a hippy who developed a knack for marketing (and then learned how to be a hippy again).

A gentle exploration of myth as a bridge between the conscious and unconscious mind. Together, we’ll step into the symbolic realm of story, the collective unconscious, and the quiet truths that live beneath language. Colby will share an intimate reading of the Sagittarius chapter from Origin Myths of the Stars, followed by space for personal and communal reflection. This session invites slowing down, listening inward, and meeting the old stories as mirrors for our own lives and our shared community. About Colby: Colby Michelle is a writer and storyteller from northern Alberta whose work explores the quiet meeting place between myth, psychology, and lived experience. She is the author of Origin Myths of the Stars, a small collection of mythopoetic retellings of the zodiac’s earliest stories. Colby approaches myth as a simple way of remembering—of slowing down, listening inward, and meeting old archetypes with fresh honesty. She’s grateful to share these stories at Reclaiming Evolution and to offer them as gentle companions for anyone drawn to the symbolic language of myths.

After working over five years as a writer and editorial manager I became a freelance children's book editor and writer. I decided to travel to learn more about myself. In 2017, my grandfather’s death brought about a change in my beliefs and opened new doors to me. Through encounters with mediums and healers, and guided by synchronicities, I met Carole Chenevier, trained by Bert Hellinger in family constellations. This incredible tool resonated deeply with me: I trained with her for two years. In the meantime, I keep going to travelling, rediscovering sacred places and my own path through Norway, Sami territory, Ireland, Scotland, and Canada. To expand my practice, I am training in energy clearing and healing, geobiology, and spiritual regression hypnosis. These experiences nourish me and contribute to making me the person I am today. With passion, I dedicate myself to love, fully committed to this intimate work we undertake together. My practice is rooted in a holistic approach: physical, emotional, mental, and energetic. I am committed to guide you with respect, humility, and non-judgment on your healing journey.

Mother Mirror - our Children are Witnessing

Kendra A 3.jpeg

We are being looked up to. Our actions, our words, our habits, and, our energy is all being mirrored by the generations to come. When it comes to the ways we hold ourselves with respect through nourishment, movement, and emotional regulation, it is more important than ever to remember the responsibility that these actions are not just for us- but they support the shaping of what is possible for the young ones amongst us. Mother Mirror is a workshop with both sensory experience and tangible exploration for honest discovery of our inner realms- where are we being invited to expand in our relationship to self? How does this impact our families? Our communities? The words we use toward our nourishment, our bodies, our capabilities, dreams, and expression is all energy that creates a lived experience We give grace and compassion, open to receive forgiveness if this is ready and needed, and- we choose to remember that we are pillars in our home. We are deserving of being tended to and to receive what we need. We especially from ourselves. My intention with this workshop is for the participants to leave with a sense of power in what is possible and a sense of renewed agency of being the creator of their life. Through tangible experiences of receiving and opening to the approval that this level of receiving not only matters, it is vital. About Kendra: Kendra Adachi is a mother, Intuitive Integrative Health Coach, and mentor exploring the embodiment of Truth & Power. Her devotion is to honour the body, its wisdom & innate guidance. Approving of the power we all wield as our intuitive compass, and opening to access the Truth of our sovereign expression. Bridging the gap between body and spirit, Kendra holds space and guides people to begin to listen and trust their own wisdom from within. This is an experience that is felt as Kendra leads intuitive sessions to support opening of the body and clearing through what no longer serves. More sacred excavation then “coaching session”, these experiences are a space where we get to dance with the thaw of your system as we allow it to show us what is needed. It is all within you, Kendra holds the sacred service of holding, witnessing, and reminding what you hold and are capable of. Kendra holds intimate 1-1 containers, The Honouring, with clients to truly allow the spaciousness for the body to return to deep trust, reorienting the relationship to self and the body from disconnect to deep loving connection exploring modalities of movement, nourishment, spirituality, and more.

Beyond the Pendulum: Alchemizing a Woman’s True Power from the Inside Out

Across generations, women have been told how to be: the perfect homemaker, the tireless achiever, the embodiment of softness. Each script shifts with the times, but all share a common thread, they pull us toward the polarizing ends of a pendulum. One extreme or the other. Submission or domination. Striving or surrender. But our true power does not live in the extremes. It lives in our ability to alchemize. To hold contradictions, transform them, and create something entirely new. It lives in our ability to respond rather than react, to create from within rather than follow an imposed blueprint. In this talk, I will explore what that actually means in the context of womanhood and creation. Together, we’ll move beyond inherited prescriptions and uncover how power expresses itself uniquely in each of us. There will be opportunities for reflection and a simple embodied practice to help you begin sensing what it looks like for you to create, not as culture defines it, but as only you can embody it. You will leave with a deeper understanding of what it means to live and create from your own centre, carrying this wisdom into conception, motherhood, and every act of becoming. About Nicole: Nicole Broadhurst is a Mother, Doctor of Chinese Medicine, and Co-founder of The Holistic Fertility Group. For over a decade, she has walked alongside hundreds of couples on their journey to grow their families. Her gift lies in seeing the bigger picture and holding the vision when others cannot, while creating the structures that make possibility real. Through both her professional work and personal fertility journey, Nicole has learned how to navigate the challenges, soften into leadership, and alchemize new beginnings when old paths fall away. She is devoted to helping women and couples reclaim their power to co-create, not only a child, but the life and relationships that become the true soil for growth.

An intuitive, hands-on exploration of cyanotype - the ancient sun-printing process that captures the silhouettes of plants in deep indigo. In this session, we gather local botanicals, arrange them onto prepared fabric, and create luminous blue prints using sunlight. You’ll leave with your own nature-made patch artwork and a sense of how creativity and ecology can meet in simple, beautiful ways. About Holly: Holly Phillips is a community herbalist, and nature-based storyteller living near Mayerthorpe on Treaty 6. Through Trail of Adventure, she offers seasonal plant walks, Herb Club gatherings, wildcraft-based workshops, and small-batch flower essences that help people reconnect with the living world. Her creative work includes cyanotype nature printing and The Wildcrafted Year planner, a seasonal guide for living in rhythm with land, moon, and personal creative flow. Holly is part of the emerging land trust at Harmonic Hills, where she collaborates on regenerative, cooperative approaches to land-based living, community care, and shared stewardship. She is also one of the founders of Sangudo RegenFest, a three-day, hands-on skills festival rooted in prairie traditions, rural resilience, and neighbour-to-neighbour learning. Towards Regeneration: Systems Design, Permaculture, and the Ecological Framework

Circle Line for photos transparent bckgd.png
Jamie Ohler_edited.jpg

We are facing an unprecedented polycrisis of ecological overshoot and social, political, and economic fragility and instability – all of which is overwhelming and can feel impossible to navigate, both societally and as individuals. However, by systemically analyzing our situation and re-framing our existence as an inherently ecological one, we can formulate actionable steps to move society towards regeneration and cooperation. This presentation will introduce participants to systems thinking and design, framed around some of the core ideas of permaculture - including the ethics of earth care, people care, and fair share. We'll also discuss some practical steps that anyone can take in their daily lives to make a positive impact. About Jamie: Jamie Ohler is passionate about small-scale food production, appropriate technologies, and regenerative design. Whether building solar dehydrators, experimenting with mushroom cultivation, or growing in hügelkultur beds, Jamie brings a creative, whole-systems approach to everything he touches. Jamie grew up near Sangudo, and his path has included university, a variety of jobs, and years in the construction industry. He returned home in 2016 to build a tiny house and pursue regenerative agriculture full-time. Inspired by system-thinking, permaculture, social ecology, and a DIY ethos, Jamie is dedicated to making regenerative living tangible and approachable. He believes in learning by doing, and helps others grow their skills through creativity, experimentation, and mutual aid. At Harmonic Hills, Jamie stewards the land, supports daily operations, and helps shape a space where both people and ecosystems thrive. Community involvement and volunteerism is a big part of Jamie’s life, and he is active in a number of groups in the Sangudo area, including the Friends of the Sangudo Public Library Society, the Sangudo Opportunity Development Cooperative, and the Sangudo and District Horticulture Club. Jamie has been instrumental in the establishment and maintenance of the Sangudo Community Gardens, which provides free garden plots to local residents.

A slow, sensory wander through the prairie-boreal transition zone to meet the plants who live here. In this walk, we explore local species through touch, scent, form, and ecological context - learning how to recognize them, what roles they play in the land, and how to enter into respectful relationship with them. We’ll explore ethical harvesting, seasonal timing, plant identification basics, and the subtle ways plants communicate when we move slowly and pay attention. This walk is accessible for beginners and welcoming for anyone who wants to deepen their connection to the local plant community. Sharing What We're Carrying: A Space for Men to be Witnessed

Circle Line for photos transparent bckgd.png
Jeremy_edited.jpg

Most men are carrying hidden burdens. This workshop offers a structured, safe, and respectful circle for men to speak openly about what’s weighing on you right now. Though guided writing prompts, intentional exercises, and facilitated conversation, we'll name, clarify, and speak about the inner experiences happening inside of us. You’ll be invited to articulate what you’re facing/feeling right now, share as much or as little as you wish, and witness others doing the same. This workshop is for men who are ready to show up for themselves and each other in a supportive way. About Jeremy: I'm a compassion-cultivating, day-making change agent, an empathy-collecting, anti-quitting word wizard, and a ferocious never-giver upper.  A connoisseur and collector of fine silver linings, my mission is to make kindness cool and compassion commonplace. I want to make the world better than it was yesterday.  My name is Dr. Jeremy Goldberg, and I worked internationally for governments and universities for a decade, researching and writing a PhD about how our brains influence our actions. I've managed teams of people and millions of dollars, gave a TEDx talk called, “What if kindness was cool?”, hosted more than a dozen retreats on four continents (including an annual 200 km Spanish pilgrimage), and wrote a book called It’ll Be Okay, And You Will Be Too.   An American-Australian word dork living in Canada, I'm an ordained minister, SCUBA diving instructor, recovering scientist turned author, podcast host, spoken word poet, and giver of keynotes who speaks fluent burrito.   I work as a life coach, but I'm more of a dream doula. People pay me to make them cry, sometimes in delight and sometimes as we confront the stories they hide behind. The core of my work is grounded in conviction excavation and clarity acquisition, reminding people of their inherent agency, and realizing that beliefs are choices that influence malleable identities. My clients borrow my faith in them while we grow theirs together. I use writing as a medium to help people deal with life (and themselves) and believe creative thinking can stimulate healing, inspire epiphanies, and propagate aliveness. I wrote a book, gave a TEDx talk, and my podcast is one of the top 1% globally. With 600,000+ downloads and over 220 episodes, you probably follow many of my guests from the personal development industry, including several NYT bestsellers and numerous therapists and thought leaders.

The Shame House: The Things We Can't Forgive Ourselves For

Circle Line for photos transparent bckgd.png
Tad H (2)5_edited.jpg

Most of us have done things we deeply regret. Big things. Small things. Things we got caught for. Things no one else knows about. Things we did. Things we DIDN'T do. That's not the problem. The problem is how we deal with that. In this culture, we seem to end up dealing with behaviour we don't like by punishment. When we do things we don't like we tend to punish ourselves by: - beating ourselves up - isolating ourselves - speaking to ourselves in incredibly harsh and judgemental terms, "how could you be so STUPID?" or "how could i be such an asshole?" "why amI so goddamned weak?!" - feeling deeply ashamed- feeling "less than" others - telling ourselves we don't deserve love or forgiveness After all, we tell ourselves, if we don't punish the transgressor, they won't "learn nuthin'". This, of course, makes up ripe for the manipulations of others. We'll do anything to "make it right" because we feel so deeply ashamed. So, how do we deal with our regrets in a way that engenders real learning, growth and change vs. shame and guilt? How do we face these things in a way that strengthens us instead of weakening us? In this workshop we will explore: - the distinction between punitive and restorative justice - the distinction between being responsible FOR other people's feelings and being responsive TO them - the distinction between moral judgements and value judgements. - the importance of having empathy for ourselves - why apologies are a form of violence - the difference between apologizing and mourning - the needs we were trying to meet when we did the thing we regret- the needs that weren't met by that action - alternative strategies that could better meet all of those needs. - a specific process to address our regrets that leaves us back in touch with ourselves, rooted, strong and clearer for next time. About Tad: – Founder of Marketing for Hippies Tad is a hippy who developed a knack for marketing (and then learned how to be a hippy again).
